Where We Work
Fisher Civils operates primarily within the regulated water and wastewater sector and the wider critical national infrastructure market across the southern half of England.
Primary Sector
Water & Wastewater
The regulated water sector is the core of our business. We work with principal contractors and framework partners delivering civil engineering packages on assets operated by water companies — including treatment works, pumping stations, reservoirs, and network infrastructure.
Working within operational water and wastewater environments demands a disciplined approach. Assets are live, access is controlled, and the consequences of poor planning or execution can be significant. We understand these constraints and have built our systems and approach around them.
Our experience spans both clean water and wastewater assets, across capital delivery programmes and maintenance frameworks. We are familiar with the regulatory environment, the operational requirements, and the standards expected by water company clients and their framework contractors.

Wider Sector
Critical National Infrastructure
Beyond the water sector, Fisher Civils is developing its presence across the wider critical national infrastructure market. This includes energy, transport and other regulated sectors where the civil engineering requirements and operational context are similar to those we manage in the water sector.
Our capabilities — earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete structures, foundations, pipelines and external works — are directly applicable across a range of infrastructure programmes. We bring the same disciplined approach to safety, quality and programme management regardless of the sector.
Working in Operational Environments
Safety first
All work within operational assets is planned and executed with the additional safety controls required. We hold the accreditations and management systems needed to operate in these environments.
Minimal disruption
We understand that operational assets must continue to function. Our planning and sequencing is designed to minimise disruption to operations throughout the works.
Quality and compliance
Works within regulated environments are subject to exacting quality and compliance requirements. We apply the same rigour to quality management as we do to safety.
